How is self-priming of peristaltic pump produced?

Through the working principle of the peristaltic pump, we can know that the peristaltic pump is composed of a driver, pump head, and hose. When running, the roller in the pump head squeezes the peristaltic pump pipe, and the elastic hose will be alternately squeezed and released to pump fluid. In the process of extrusion, the pump tube will return to the natural state after the roller leaves, then the pump tube will form a vacuum state, the formation of self-suction or suction function, this function is generated at both ends of the pump tube.

What is peristaltic pump self-priming

The self-priming of peristaltic pumps is generally used in dispensing peristaltic pumps (also known as filling peristaltic pumps according to the purpose), mainly used in liquid dispensing scenarios. In liquid separation, after filling a container, switch to the next container, then use the peristaltic pump self-priming function. If there is no self-priming function, the liquid will drop when the container is switched, causing certain pollution and waste, so the self-priming function of the peristaltic pump is also necessary.

Chuangrui peristaltic pump transmission "M" type and FJ, LC, FC have a self-priming function to prevent the waste and pollution caused by the drip phenomenon.

Working principle of self-priming pump:

Self-priming pump by filling water in the pump shell in advance, after starting, through the rotation of the impeller, driving the liquid in the pump shell to form a vacuum at the pump entrance, and then suction liquid work. A self-priming pump is also a kind of centrifugal pump.

Peristaltic pump and self-priming pump difference:

Through the above, we can know that the peristaltic pump can be directly self-priming, and the self-priming pump needs reverse irrigation to produce self-priming. But in terms of quantity, the flow of the self-priming pump is much greater than that of the peristaltic pump, so how to use the choice, but also depends on the specific use of the situation.
