What is the peristaltic pump?

The peristaltic pump is composed of three parts: peristaltic pump driver, peristaltic pump head, and peristaltic pump hose. It is a liquid conveying device that can control the flow rate.

Peristaltic pumps work like squeezing a fluid-filled hose between your fingers and moving the fluid forward as you slide your finger forward. The peristaltic pump is powered by a peristaltic pump driver, which drives the pump head. Instead of a finger, the pump head relies on the pumping efficiency generated by several rollers alternately squeezing and releasing along with an elastic hose. The extruded fluid in the pipe produces flow output, and when the pressure disappears, the pipe depends on its elasticity to restore to its original state, the volume increases, and the vacuum is generated, and the fluid is inhaled. Cycle action is the working principle of a peristaltic pump. The diagram below:
